• Announcer & operator during this time at CKMO. Ran program called Compare the Hits every Sunday afternoon from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
• Moved over to CKWX, 980 on the dial in 1946 as an operator and did his compare the hits show
• Back to CKMO in 1947 with the DX Prowl, nightime show from 10:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. playing music as a DJ
